Matt is super excited to be apart of Fleet Week in the IndyFringe Festival! Matt is coming up on his 5th year with the IMC and his 5th year teaching choir and theater at Westlane Middle School, as well as newly serving as a board member for the Washington Schools Foundation. Matt studied Choral Music Education at Ball State University! Chirp Christ!
He wants to thank his Mom for being his biggest supporter and always in the audience for him!
Kyle is so excited to be performing in Fleet Week at the IndyFringe Festival this year. This is his fifth summer show with the IMC. He will be starting his 14th year teaching high school choral music, the last ten of them at Carmel High School. Kyle received his Bachelor’s in Music Education from Indiana University. When not teaching and singing, Kyle enjoys exploring coffee shops, reading, staying active, hanging his family and friends, and playing with his cats Louie and Lola. He would like to thank his students for inspiring him to be better every day, and his family for being the constant support in his life.
Trevor Barnes is very excited for his first ever Fringe show! He is currently finishing up his first season in the Indianapolis Men's Chorus and he's really enjoyed the experience he's had being a part of this community. While he's focused his studies and career on the visual arts, graduating from Ball State University with a BFA in Visual Communications and working full time as a senior graphic designer, music has always played a big part in his life. Growing up he was involved in high school show choir, musical theatre, collegiate a cappella, and performed internationally with a professional a cappella group, Impromptu. He is very excited to be performing again and thankful to be a part of this amazing group!
Steve is thrilled to be wrapping up his first season with the IMC in Fleet Week at the IndyFringe Festival. With degrees in Theatre Performance and Music Education from Illinois State University and Indiana State University, he's no stranger to the stage - it's just been minute. After spending 25 years as a high school choir teacher, Steve's excited for the chance to be performing again. He thanks Gayle for putting up with him, Greg for the opportunity to be part of this incredible group, and everyone in the IMC for welcoming him into their community!
Savion is incredibly excited to be part of his first IMC Fringe show. After participating in groups such as the Carmel Ambassadors and the IU Singing Hoosiers, he has found a home with the IMC this last year.
Zach is elated to make his fringe debut. He has performed with IMC for three years. Zach has also been on stage at Buck Creek Players, Civic, & Footlite Musicals, most recently playing Warner in Legally Blonde! Thank you for coming & enjoy the show!
Brian is very excited to be a part of Fleet Week at the IndyFringe Festival where he is starting his 6th season with the IMC. Brian has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and has worked in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries for the last 15 years. While at Penn State Brian was in leadership in the Penn State Marching Blue Band and the Penn State Glee Club. Brian enjoys traveling, cooking and running for fun. He would like to thank his Mom and Dad for traveling all the way from Philly to Indy to see every show he has performed in with the IMC!
Matthew Creek returns for his sixth IMC Fringe Festival production and his seventh year overall of performing with the ensemble. When he’s not singing and dancing with the IMC, Matthew serves as the Manager of Popular Programming for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Company Manager of AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration. He is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington (B.S. Arts Administration) and Indiana University Indianapolis (M.A. Philanthropic Studies). Matthew also manages the IMC social media accounts, so do yourself a favor and make sure you are following us online @IndianapolisMensChorus.
Milo Ellis is thrilled to be back with the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus for his fifth summer Fringe show. When he’s not galavanting around Fleet Week, he can be found with his students at Lawrence Central High School, doing theatre somewhere around Indianapolis, or walking his dogs. A big thanks to his family for their support and to Kayla and Sarah for consistently encouraging him to continue to perform! Enjoy the show!
Cait is excited to be part of their first Fringe show! Born and raised in Indianapolis, they are starting their fifth season singing with the Indianapolis Men's Chorus and can'twait for the fun to begin! As well as singing and dancing, they also enjoy digital art,thrift shopping, and making their own clothes. They would like to thank their family and friends both inside and outside the IMC, as well as Stephen McCoy and the rest of the IMC leadership.
Drew is thrilled to be in his 3rd Indy Fringe show with the IMC. He will be entering his 6th season with the group this year and enjoys spreading his love of music with his fellow members snd the community. As always, he would like to thank his family and friends for all of their support.
Kwesi is beyond thrilled to be wrapping up his freshman season with the IMC, performing in the cast of Fleet Week for this year’s IndyFringe Festival! When he’s not on stage, Kwesi works as a Process Automation Engineer in Pharmaceutical Research & Development. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and Data Science from Purdue University.
Off the stage, Kwesi enjoys long walks on the beach, a good book that’s been adapted into a movie or TV show, working out, and spending time with friends on Thursdays. He’s grateful to share the stage with, and learn from such a talented group of performers, and hopes you enjoy the show as much as he’s enjoyed being a part of it.
Danny is a local professional performer and this marks his 6th Indy Fringe show with the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus. Previous shows include Queen Day, Journey to Hell, Boys N the Band, Royal Tea, and Holy Sh*t!. Professional theatre credits include Beef & Boards, Actors Theatre of Indiana, and Phoenix Theatre. Danny will also be appearing in his 13th year of Yuletide Celebration with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Enjoy the show!
Jared Z. McElroy is a choral director, clinician, and performer from Indianapolis, Indiana. He currently serves as Director of Choirs at North Central High School. Jared holds a Bachelors degree from IU’s Jacobs School of Music in Choral Music Education. In 2019, he completed his Masters of Music in Choral Conducting at Butler University.
When not teaching, Jared serves as a freelance choral director, arranger, adjudicator and performer around Indianapolis. He has served as the Associate Artistic Director of the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus since 2014.
Edric is thrilled to perform in Fleet Week at the IndyFringe Festival during his sixth season with the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus! He taught high school choir and theatre for nine years and served as an ELA interventionist before stepping into his current role as the Arts Integration Instructional Coach at James Whitcomb Riley School 43. Edric earned a BFA in Musical Theatre and an MA in Executive Development for Public Services from Ball State University. He is currently a member of Butler University’s EPPSP Cohort 45, where he is studying educational administration. Edric would like to thank his friends and family for their continued support of his artistic and educational endeavors!
Joseph is excited to return to the IndyFringe Festival after appearing in last year’s production of Holy Sh*t!. He has been a member of The IMC for 14 seasons. As a performer, Joseph has performed with The Indianapolis, Baltimore, Dallas and Ft. Worth Symphony Orchestras, as well as The Naples Philharmonic. Joseph has also appeared on stage at The Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre. He can also be seen working for Four Day Ray Brewing. In his free time, Joseph works as a freelance show choir clinician, adjudicator and choreographer. Joseph received his education from both Indiana University and The Boston Conservatory.

Matty is thrilled to be performing with the IMC in Fleet Week at the IndyFringe Festival. Matty has been a singer with the IMC for 3 years and couldn’t be more thankful for this wonderful community. He received his BFA in Dance from Ball State University. His past credits include Hunchback of Notre Dame and Billy Elliot with BobDirex, Mad Mad Hercules with NoExit Performance & Zach Rosing Productions, and Guys & Dolls and Music Man with Ball State University. Professionally, Matty has worked for 8 years in Escape Room Entertainment as a performer, creative, and management. Patrick is officially “reporting for duty” with the talented cast of singers for Fleet Week at the IndyFringe Festival! He holds undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish from DePauw University and a graduate degree in Biology from Purdue. Patrick is an Associate Director of Portfolio and Project Management at Eli Lilly and Company, he is a TechPoint Indianapolis Tech 25 Honoree, he is a Director on the DePauw Alumni Board, and he is proud to serve on the Board of Directors for IndyPride. Patrick is entering his eighth year of singing with the IMC. Anchors aweigh!
