This isn’t just a prom, it’s a vibrant celebration of community, open to all, whether you're reliving your prom night, experiencing it for the first time, or simply enjoying an unforgettable night out. Expect dazzling performances by IMC singers, a silent and live auction, a dance floor that invites all to move, and a sumptuous dinner to set the tone for a night filled with joy.
Beyond the excitement of the evening, The Big Gay Prom is a powerful opportunity to support the IMC’s mission to inspire, heal, and unite through music.

We’re excited to invite all Indianapolis Men’s Chorus alumni to a special Alumni Homecoming performance! Join us for The Holiday Show on Saturday, December 20 at 7:30 pm at the Warren Performing Arts Center. Be part of the festive celebration, meet our current singers, and reconnect with fellow alumni on this memorable evening!
Alumni Performance Details:
Performance Date: Saturday, December 21 at 8 pm
Location: Warren Performing Arts Center
Repertoire: A medley of holiday carols (music coming soon!)
Attire: Festive attire for both dress rehearsal (optional) and performance

Optional Rehearsal & Dress Rehearsal Viewing:
Date: Thursday, December 18
Time: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Location: Warren Performing Arts Center
Details: Join in on an optional rehearsal, and stay for a dress rehearsal viewing. Alumni should be ready for a run-through of their part at 8:15 pm.
Photography: A photographer will capture memorable moments during the dress rehearsal.

They greet guests, help with seating, and ensure every performance runs smoothly. The IMC could not survive without the support of our donors. Ticket sales and membership dues provide just 40% of our operating income, and donors provide essential, annual support for the operation of our volunteer chorus.

The Echo Project
Amplifying Acceptance. Inspiring Change.
The Echo Project is the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus’s anti-bullying and youth outreach initiative, using the power of music and storytelling to create safer, more affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ youth.
Through performances, conversations, and personal testimonies, IMC singers visit schools and youth organizations to share messages of courage, self-acceptance, and community. Our goal is to create an “echo effect”—where one voice of support leads to many, and young people know they are seen, valued, and never alone.
Whether we’re standing in a school gym, singing in a classroom, or leading a dialogue with students, we bring more than just music—we bring hope, visibility, and a sense of belonging.
