Volunteer with the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus
The Indianapolis Men’s Chorus thrives because of the incredible support of our community. Volunteers play an important role in helping our concerts, events, and outreach programs run smoothly while creating a welcoming experience for our audiences and community partners.
Whether you’re greeting guests at a concert, helping at a Pride event, or supporting one of our community celebrations, volunteering with IMC is a great way to connect with others, support LGBTQ+ visibility, and be part of the music and mission that make our organization special.
Volunteer Opportunities
Concert Ushers
Help welcome audiences to IMC performances by greeting guests, scanning tickets, assisting with seating, and helping create a friendly and organized experience at the venue. Ushers typically arrive about an hour before the performance and are able to enjoy the concert once guests are seated.
Community Events
IMC participates in several community events throughout the year, including Pride celebrations across central Indiana. Volunteers help staff information booths, greet attendees, share information about the chorus, and help represent IMC in the community.
Event Support
Some events require additional help with set-up, parking assistance, or event logistics. These volunteers help ensure events run smoothly and that guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
